This Chocolate Coconut Smoothie is a healthy breakfast to start your day and keeps you full till lunchtime. I am a fan of smoothies. Smoothies became my best friend back in the days when I was trying to lose weight. This is my favourite one amongst the others (smoothies), coz I love chocolate (something which I can’t give up easily). Most of the days I always end up making this one, it’s like a dessert drink!
This Chocolate Coconut smoothie is vegan and does not contain any dairy milk. It is loaded up with fats which comes from the coconut and almonds. It also has omega-3 fatty acids and fibre from the chia seeds. This smoothie is nutritious and makes one wholesome breakfast.
I have not used any sweetener in this smoothie. The bananas make the smoothies sweet and you don’t want any extra calories from the sugar. In case if you feel it not sweet enough, you can add dates.

Chocolate Coconut Smoothie

Yield: 1 serving
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut powder
- 10-12 soaked almonds, peeled
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- In a blender, add all the above ingredients. Blend on high speed.
- Pour it into your glass and enjoy!
