Israeli Salad

I never knew what the actual name of this salad was when I first ate it. It was so refreshing and light. I quite liked it. It is not called Israeli Salad in Israel but the dish definitely originated from there. In Israel, its called by another name “Salat Katzutz”.

This salad is healthy and is very easy to make with simple ingredients. Cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and parsley are the common vegetables used to make this salad.

Some people also use mint in this, But I do not like the taste of mint (especially when its added too much into a salad).

This salad is dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. You can also use Za’atar or sumac as a dressing for this salad. Make sure that you chop the vegetables into equal sizes.
